Day Camps
Camp SEA Lab day camp is a perfect opportunity for youth to get a glimpse of the vast diversity that the ocean environment has to offer. Campers spend 5 days getting their hands wet, as they explore marine habitats hands-on. Day campers arrive at 9am and can expect fun-filled days packed with exciting activities that introduce them to important marine concepts, help them to build relationships with their peers, and involve them in learning to care for our coasts and ocean. At 4pm each day, campers are ready to return home to share their knowledge and excitement with their friends and family, but come back the next day thirsty for more!
Camp SEA Lab offers limited transportation service from Salinas and Monterey to aid families in getting their kids to and from camp each day. Registration for the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis. An additional fee of $50 per week is required for this service and is non-refundable once your week of camp begins.
Campers should bring their own bag lunches each day to camp. Camp SEA Lab provides morning and afternoon snacks. Please note that if you live in an area outside of our available Transportation Service (Monterey and Salinas) such as the Santa Cruz area, we may be able to connect you with other registered families to arrange your own independent carpool options to these programs. Please call our office at 582-3681 for details.
