Residential Camps

Camp SEA Lab residential camp gives youth an up-close and in depth opportunity to experience the wonders of marine environment. Campers arrive on day 1 eager and curious about the ocean, the friends they will make, the staff and marine professionals they will work with for the next week. Dynamic curricula, games, field trips, and on the water experiences keep campers busy during the day, but not so busy that they don't enjoy night hikes, s'mores, or songs around a campfire at night! By day 5, campers are filled with knowledge and experience involving our coasts and ocean, have actively participated as members of a team, and are ready to spread the word to friends and family about why the marine environment is so cool!
Residential programming is offered at a variety of locations around Monterey Bay. Lodging is available in dorm rooms at regional universities to gain the "college experience". Campers will always have roommates and are typically grouped by age. Regardless of location, campers are always housed separately by gender and have staff supervision at all times.

Food varies somewhat depending on location, but is consistently nutritious, kid-friendly, and fresh. Campers are served three meals a day, in addition to morning and afternoon snacks. We can accommodate campers who have special dietary needs as long as we receive advance notice.
